Gospel for Asia–supported missionaries and pastors all over Asia plan how they can share the story of Jesus’ love with their neighbors in creative ways.
Jeremiah is one of these missionaries. He has already led special Christmas services in 17 villages. The Lord has worked mightily in many lives through his messages.
Most of these villages are populated by high-caste and traditionally resistant groups of people. Along with the Christmas services, Jeremiah held meetings to carefully and thoroughly compare their traditional religion with Christianity. Because he was familiar with their beliefs, he could respectfully and effectively share with the villagers about the hope they could have by knowing Jesus.
In one village, 60 people chose to receive Jesus as a result of Jeremiah’s message. In another village, 185 people attended his program and out of that group, 70 chose to follow Christ. In a third area, 40 people out of 75 attending found new life in the Savior.
Jeremiah is grateful to the Lord for His work in the lives of these men and women. He also requests prayer that the others who heard the Good News will also come to know Jesus.
